At the Grasslands we preserve many marmalades, jams, salsas, chutneys, and jellies which represent the southwest. Most of the fruits and produce used is locally grown. For instance, we grow and harvest our own prickly pear. We pick oranges and lemons exclusively from the Sonoran desert, and we rely on local organic gardeners for our salsas and chutneys. Some of the items you will find include: Prickly pear jelly and syrup, orange marmalade, lemon marmalade, hot and mild salsa, salsa verde, corn chutney, apple chutney and mango chutney. Our sugarless preserves include: blueberry jam, date butter, fig butter and banana butter.
