Grasslands features a full line bakery where whole grain breads and rolls are produced daily. We are proud of our pumpernickle, salt rising, sour dough and full grain breads. We specialize in making our own croissants, which is a very labor intensive process, but one that guarantees quality. We use this dough to make our cinnamon rolls, danish, bear claws, and filled croissant sandwiches. The signature cake at the Grasslands is our streussel kuchen made from a traditional German recipe. You will also find in our spacious bakery cases a wide selection of specialty cake breads, muffins of many flavors, brownies, granola bars and cookies. European torts, fruit tarts, cheese cakes, fruit pies, and layer cakes are all made on premises and give our bakery an authentic feel and taste.
